high lvl skills vs. low lvl skills

how important is getting high lvl skills? forexample: how much more dmg would i do if i get lvl5 strong bow as opposed to lvl1 strong bow? is it significant enought so that it would be very hard to kill with the lvl skills?

Well, the difference is there, or there wouldnt be those extra levels to get. Its up to you to determine whether the gain is worth it. Do you have the SP? How often do you use the skill in question?

If you use it a fair bit, you may as well take it to the max so you get the most you can out of it.

Since your probably str, then it will have a noticeable increase in damage. But the thing is do you find it useful for pvp/pve, if so then you should probably level it. If you don't have the sp then wait until you farm to level it.

Depends on your build.

Str characters will see significant damage difference with leveled up physical skills. However, they will see minor difference when leveling up magical skills.

Int characters will see significant damage difference with leveled up magical skills. However, they will see minor, if any difference when leveling up physical skills.

You are pure str bow, you should level up strong bow. Great opener for pvp and for giant, and with skill update, 3rd book has stun.
