Besides that, he is using macro. Or he has Farking fast fingers. Talking bout the new videos that is.
Fire shield reduces for numers. Imbue has status effect for numbers. Pure math. That is why you need fire shield. Atleast for as far as I know.

there is a delay of recovery what depends on the amount of status.
No, i dont know and i never see any guide that says that a shield technique from Fire reduces the delay of recovery. Are u saying that u can autopot faster with that skill? Or pots work more efficient?

people are forgetting that the new skills will completely change a lot of aspects of SRO. There's no point arguging over it until some actual numbers and details of these skills come out.
Hopefully this information can be provided somewhat by dE4? Apparently someone said he's tested the new servers?

Terrible damage because of ice and light.
No fire.. Eugh, not good at all :S
... Seriously...
By looking at your level, its safe to say that your comment is useless.
What the hell are you talking about?
You're lv 3x.
I was lv 54, 32, and now lv 18 ^ ^
I know more about this than you do.
Although I will change my vote from fire+light to light+ice.
My build for 90 cap: 90 bicheon, 90 ice, 90 light, 30 into other stuff.

Heauksal 88 (only passive and ghost spear needed)
Bicheon 90 (your main weapon)
Ice 90
Light 32
Pure int
Why do i need money?
Because
- with money, u can resolve the problem of speed provided by Lightning. Drug of typhoon sold by npc would give u +100% increase speed.
- each year, there will be an event that u can gain trigger scroll to increase your dodge and rating.
- with silk, u can buy scrolls that increase 20% mag and phy damage
=> most skills from Light can be resolved through items. Except ghost walk, that's why u need 32 Light.
- with silk, u can also buy 20% damage resistance scroll.
Why Ice?
U choose not to freeze ppl but because Ice would give u about 200+ phy defense and damage reduction skill (that goes to MP).
Pure int vs Pure int : 1 nuke + ghost spear = die so 200+ mag defense from fire wont change the situation.
Because for a weapon : mag power = 1.4-1.8x phy power
so 200 phy def worth more than 200 phy def
Gear
Garment (because u have ice); otherwise Fire + armor
=> give same defense but garment seems better to me
Have a gear +72str/+72int (u can have 6str/6int max for 9th deg equips)
+1200 HP from Stamina stone
At lvl 90, pure int has 6350 HP naked
With a perfect gear , u'll have 14000+ HP (2-3kHP is from heuksal passive)
Even if u are pure int, damage resistance scroll + damage reduction skill +
shield techniques make u invincible.
Tactic of pvp

this is the most unqualified noobish thread i've ever seen.
++++++1 ahaha why dont you use horse to run fast LOL..
crystal is so CUTE..

IMO, I see the int hybrid spears rising to the top. Ice, light, heuksai all at 90. For those saying that fire is crucial for damage, pull your head out of your ass. My main currently has 70 fire, 80 light, 80 heuksai, and 70 ice. As soon as the 90 cap comes, fire goes down to 30 and the others will come to 90. As I'm sitting now [I've had light and fire at 80 and played with both imbues], the damage difference is negligable. Light provides the most powerful nuke at the 90 cap, the light imbue I heard will also dish out more damage. The best benefit from the fire tree, other than damage [at this cap], is fireshield. If they fix the immunity 'bug,' this isue will also be resolved. The only reasons now to stick with fire is the increased magical defense and the physical damage increase. The physical damage increase is minute and not worth the sp compared to the benefit gained from ice, and the mana shield will also make up for the decrease in magical defense [besides... you have fan spear for when you get cornered.]
So basically, with light, you'll have the best nuke, great speed, the crucial magic damage increase buff, and the imbue. With ice you get the 264 extra physical defense and the mana shield. If the walls ever get fixed [right now, they break if you are supposed to get stunned, knockedback, or knockeddown], you will also benefit from it. If the immunities problem is resolved you could get the ice imbue as a back up imbue and you have the novas to freeze your enemies. With heuksai you get the increased hp passive [not including your own from having gone 80%~90% int hybrid], a means to spam SSS and the new SSS paired with a more powerful, yet to come, GSM.
Conclusion... You'll easily be able to tank glaivers left and right and drop them with fair ease as well [the problem at the current cap is that hybrid int spears need but a tad bit more survivability to slay a good glaiver. Add ice and you solve that problem.], you will be able to grind easily and should fair very well in wars and jobbing. And that's my two cents.
