the advantages are:
fire: damage
cold: defense
theres nothing else to it.
Fire kills faster and burns.
Cold has ice shield which is great defense, and if you use garmets, thats really strong magic and physical defense but is a noticiably weaker (especially since the difference you see in fire imbue and cold imbues is multiplied a lot more then in glaives because of the fast attack.
Ice blade..

no, you *should* not. you *should* not do anything cos other say you *should*.
im really sorry for the next line, but from what im reading in these posts, i tend to think that 20% of the people in this forum ask theyr mum in the morning
"*should* i drink a tea or a glass of milk, mummy?"
read what other, more experienced people say about different builds
learn about the game, the skills, the builds ect.
skip the flaming posts
and decide what fits you most. what you like most
thats what you *should* do

sorry guys for my flaming before, i admit it, i'm using cold,
but i'm also using lightning fire force sword and glaive
i have force strictly for res and mana passive
glaive for hp passive
sword is my main and i have cold fire and lightning for nukes
i figured i can go masterylvl wise
20 force
20 heuskal
65 bicheon
65 lightning
65 fire
65 cold
granted that might max them out it might not but its not like i will ever get above lvl 65 due to my limited gameplay (OH TELL XUCHU HE FORGOT THIS BUILD ON HIS LIST LOL)

At level 60+ the ~200 extra hp and mp is nothing. Better to sink those masteries and sp into Bicheon for the extra damage increase and skills.
The extra mp helps for awhile, but once you get to 52+ I recommend getting rid of the force passive since you can get by without it.
I'm in your posts, stealing your quotes.

so i get lvl 20 heuskal and force and then later lvls i just get rid of them (all hthe way or just to lvl 10) should i keep rez?

I just delved my force from 3x to 9 this morning including the MP boosts, and it really makes no difference at all.
Yes it helps a bit in the lwoer levels, but as cuchulain says once it's like 5% of your total it doesn't make a difference at all especially when all skills you normally use cost more.
And Antione, I suggest y ou reallly re-think your build. You're basically using 5 mastery trees. That is a lost of used up SP to level 10 masteries to be able to get X passive in X skill tree. You will end up farming yourself to death and just wish to quit the game when you realize you really can't keep up with all the skills. You will also then realize that you are wasting time, and sp which could be better used in more useful skills, and you will then end up either using money on item mall potions or be doing the cursed hear tquest for the rest of your life and also spend a good percentage of your money on each skill you delevel to only end up getting 4/5 of the sp originally invested.
