I know everyone is sick of these threads but I really need to blow off some steam.
The source of my frustration: Gold Bots


These pictures are just a small sample of what the problem really looks like.

I've been playing for about 6 months now and within that time I have seen the number of gold bots increase EXPONENTIALLY. Player bots are bad enough, but gold bots are truly ruining SRO.
Gold bots frustrate legit players (ks galore), crowd servers, inflate the economy, lag servers and are generally nothing but a nuisance. At every grind spot I go to, at least half of the players around me are bots. They've been pissing me off so much that lately I've been murdering at least one gold bot a week, which accomplishes nothing because they just return the same spot 5 minutes later. I can see why many of the veteran players have left the game.
If JM is really trying to stop these bots I don't understand why JM won't ban the same spam bots that are in town 25/7. That'll at least slow down them down.
Seriously, the problem has gotten way out of hand. I would quit playing, but this game has too much potential.
Please people, DON'T BUY GOLD! If you buy gold you are just aiding in further ruining this game.

Lock this thread, don't reply, flame me I don't care. Just really needed to rant.

Yes there are alot of gold bots where you point at, but hey they are fun to kill with light thiefs when you are thiefing and there a no traders around

I personally havent seen any gold bots since Lv 4X
I moved to Mujigi at 47 there were maybe 3 gold bots and the rest all player bots. Kind of hard to catch up there when u hand grind. Anyway.
I havent seen any gold bots on the Ice yet or at the Yetis (Lv58 now )

I personally dont have a problem with player bots since my lvl 80 was mostly botted until I stopped. And to get away from the "you are a bot" reputation i started a new char. I understand why so many people bot but anyway, i think you see more gold bots in the lower levels than in the higher levels due to the fact that the mobs turn stronger and stronger the gold bots cant keep up with their healing.

Joymax should do something against the clientless bots...
I remember for example sos bows lvl 16 going for like a mil, their price range went like 16mil upwards... makes around 17mil for a good farming bow on Xian.

there are so many different gold selling companies that they lower the gold prices all the time to compete with the other companies.

I believe u can buy like 50m gold for about 25 $

and that keeps people buying.

Try reversing that sentence, there is the true solution/problem. Too bad that's the world we live in, "blame a company, your parents, bad childhood, etc" rather then the actual truth. I've had a couple conversations that look similar to this...

Guy: OMG ..... joymax won't do shit. They need to ban the bots. They're screwing the legits...blah blah

Me: Ya ..... bots..it's out of hand.

I will never understand why it's so important on MMO's that your pixels > other guys pixels, to the point of people spending $100's a month to be so. If your self-esteem is that low that if you need your pixels to make you feel like a winner (by picking on low lvls mostly) then I suggest you spend that money on therapy rather then...well..pixels. And how does that actually make you proud anyways? You accomplished nothing, you cheated and farked over others, and put in 0 actual work. Sad, sad, sad, farked up society nowadays.

they spend 25hr per day on internet to talk shit and try to win each other over "i hv more life/my dck is bigger" argument

try to learn to live with it....just a game, gold bots will not affect ur daily life, ur study, ur future, ur job, ur family, ur wife etc.

My point is not blaming Joymax for not banning them.
