If you're SP farming, get all three mastery trees but I would use cold imbue for PVE.
Main char: Level 3X hybrid str bow
Alt char: Level 4X hybrid int s/s

I don't believe in pure builds, too cookie cutter.

Go ahead and get them all - Use fire as primary imbue, but keep ice handy in case someone drags over those pesky bandits.

Don't get light though... Unless you have spare sp, because light looks cool, but it doesn't really have a bonus (Who REALLY wants damage transfer? I'm sure you are all like "For mobbing, duh". But archers don't mob)

Go for fire imbue. you will need every extra bit of damage you can lay your hands on.

Ice imbue is superior to fire imbue for an archer in almost every way in PVE. Sure fire imbue may do a bit more damage but frostbite is such an effective status effect, enemies become tons slower in both movement and attack speed.

Alt char: Level 4X hybrid int s/s

He's a new player, he's not going to have a sox 16 bow. He'll be 2 shotting them regardless of imbue.

I ahd an archer with ice, and it worked great, i barely got hit cause of frostbite or freezing. And at the 90 CAP the immune ice should be fixxed like KSRO, so pvp should be good to. The problem is choosing between fire or light, cause bowers are usually pure STR so they need the fire protection for mag defense, but phantom walk is good for instant moving way from mobs or ppl. I Know cause i used Bower before, but it was INT and it suked, cause i din't know anything aboutr builds cause i just joined SRO back then and only had a lvl 27 S/S at the time, so i deleted that bower.

actually, u dont need cold at all...

as u said, most of bowers are full or hybrid STR... fire have phy dmg and mag def, light have grass and phantom walk (also have must piercing, and that is really usefull for hybrid str too)... cold what? phy def? lol, u dont need it.

im building an archer hybrid str fire/light, and he is doing fine atm, but im just lvl 30. Anyway, even being lvl 30, i know that i dont need cold imbue for PvE couse almost all the mobs cant touch me with fire (also i have a bit more dmg).

but i repeat, im just 30
