hhmmm i understand why many cant appreciate these types of music but try to listen to their lyrics it has sense in a way. Especially those with controversial topics in their songs. Also the faster beats they produce, really a music to the ear but not for some. \m/
thats what they say about the 16 year old chicks singin about the love of their life aswell .
i think its more about the whole "scene" and everything. i cant listen to it but its more than just the music i think.
i dont mind ppl listening to it but i do mind the metal scene. sometimes you see some guys on the street all dressed in black and white painted faces and thats what i dont like about it.
i mean, can be cool to look mean and dangerous and like a vampire till your about 14 but after that you really should think of the simple fact that later on, you must try to find yourself a job and meet new ppl and everything. the whole black scene doesnt make that easier on ya.
and NO im not generalizing everybody who listens to death metal. like i said its fine for me if they listen to it. i just want to make the point that, if there is ppl on this forum that dress in black all day long and paint their faces white, youd better think about what i just said it will make life better for you
every scene has its way.
IMO I think people who paint their faces and wear gothic dresses are kinda ga.. well to say it in a nice way, its just totally not my thing.
But you have 'gangstas' rappi'n about their bitchez and drugs and 'poppin' their enemies etc, thats not healthy either. Children who get raised in streetgangs etc.
and ofcourse the 'nazi' cultures etc etc
some scenes are just rotten.
I just use extreme metal to deal with my everyday frustrations. Some people misunderstand the idea behind metal.
Some bands misunderstand the whole scene.
The way I see it, 90-95% of the people that listen to extreme music have the wrong idea of what its all about, and why the scene ever was created.
To make a long story short, people dressed in black with makeup dont belong in the extreme scene IMO; they should stick to nu-metal. were talkin about death metal here
i for one dont want music from a band called cattle decapitation inside me....
