Long time no see.
--------
This is a bit of a shameless advertisement, but here goes nothing. A group of ex-players from the MMORPG Carpe Diem that sunk when its publisher, Persistent Worlds Ltd ceased trading, have created a petition with the focus of gathering enough interest for another company to pick up the game and bring it back to the Western market.
Whether you used to play Carpe Diem or not, your signature will be highly appreciated. Carpe Diem was a unique game with quirky visuals, great gameplay, and an absolutely fantastic community spirit. Daily GM events and excellent customer/staff communications were just a couple of its outstanding features. Many people were heartbroken when the game shut down, due to poor marketing strategies leading to poor sales.
This video shows all ingame footage, created by members of the Beriths 27th guild (of which I myself lead, and provided the shoulder for the fey in the video). Please watch.

Perhaps you are mildly interested in trying the game out, if it came back and was free-to-play? If so, please do sign your name. We need all the support we can muster for this, our last-ditch attempt at reviving a wonderful, but under-appreciated game. One of the CEOs of Persistent Worlds, Phil "Vortal" White, has agreed to put forward our cause directly to GNISoft if we get enough signatures - and that's all that remains for us to do!
You can help. Every signature is important. The petition can be found here: http://z11.invisionfree.com/CarpeKin/in ... getnewpost
You may choose not to provide your email address if you wish, but for the sake of appearing valid it would be appreciated if you provide at least a spam account to sign with.
Once you've signed your name, that's it, we won't require anything else of you; you can delete your account at the forum, or do whatever you wish. It only takes a few minutes, and you will be making a valuable contribution to our efforts.
Carpe Diem!
