Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Inspection Period : 4/17/2007 13:00~19:00 Silkroad Standard Time (6 hour duration)

-Chatting fraud prevention system to be applied

Okay, I have seen there was another topic about this, obviously i cannot find it anymore and since im short on my time right now to go use the search button Ill start a new topic. Im sorry.

Anyway, my question:
What is a Chattin Fraud Prevention system?

prevention of fraudulent chat DUHHHHHHH!!

they're probably going to make it so that people cant fake other peoples name using the /n bug.

i just started to get annoyed by the ppl using the /n bug on globals its like

and i dont.

My client won't let me do the \n trick anymore. Neither will it for anyone else I spoken to. Non modified for now tho.

Can't be that then I guess. Just for the love of god hope they limit global chat use to like 5 a day, really really annoying.

you cannot type /n in SRO. so people type alt+255 that makes an ascii space then type /n (enter persons name here)

that is the /n bug.

The chat fraud update is to prevent people from using the in game chat system to pose as GMs and pretend to send messages from GMs or other characters.
