How long after a char is deleted before you can use the name

Hey, I just deleted one of my chars, and waited that 1 week. The character is not in the selection screen, but it still says that the same ID exists when I try to create a new character. How long before I can use that name? Hopefully someone didn't take the name before I did

7 days i believe. it should say when you delete a character. within these 7 days you can recover your character.

either someone took the id already u have to wait for one month...
