mercs can attack mobs (video included)

I usually grind in Takla Makan dressed in thief suit just for fun ; a hunter attacked me and I killed him with mercs because I was too lazy to fight

after that, I noticed that my mercs (some of them) are attacking the mobs around ( Niya mages) ; first I made a screens shot, then fast I put it on fraps.

so, does anyone know how to make them attack on orders? I know that they should not do this normally, but maybe there are some hidden tricks :wink:

And you get the EXP for the kill as well. Cool.

Yeah, now we just need to find out how to make them attack on command. Make grinding a whole lot easier.

If you want to put the server flag under your Avy, then simply type "Xian" in the Location box within your profile

LOL how is using mercs a 1 on 1. if u use mercs we should have our own way of "fighting back"

I dont think that AvAlAnChE1 is _B3av__. That is a SS of a certain member caught botting. Again.. :roll:

Ive had this happen too before with npc thiefs when i was in hunter and escorting a multi my mercs would sometimes attack npc thiefs with me no one believed me about that no theres proof lol.

This has been found out more than a month ago when yoxoyo did it to Lord Yarkan. Then we found out it was abusing a bug in the game and that Joymax would ban for abusing this bug. yoxoyo and BrowNTyGeR almost got banned for doing this, so I suggest you stop. =) It's a cool bug though.

If there is a way to make mercs atack mobs, that's like the closest way to legit botting lol.

if there mercs get attacked and you dont. they usually attack back. happens with bowman thiefs all the time. mages attacked the mercs so thats why they ( or one) attacked back. Hope that helps. im pretty sure about this. since i seen it many times.

well, one "excuse" can be .. : I invested more time in caressing my guild and not in making myself stronger ; so its a way to make a balance between me and a stronger one :wink:

and sometimes ,using mercs can be the only way to win against strong bots players.

Woah dude, don't tell joymax or they'll fix it

Mercs attack enemies if you attack them, or if they see one, or if they're attacked by one.

If someone goes offender and they have mercs, then you can attack one, and eventually it'll get annoyed and kill you. I made a guy murderer once doing that.

Anyways, I think they're doing it because of the hunter, it made them put their guard on.

The fire merc was cool, did alot of damage, too bad he died though

after the "incident" with mercs , I took them in the middle of evil mobs , but none of them wanted to take revenge for the hits he received ; so there is no rule that if u are not attacked but mercs yes , then mercs will fight back.
but thx for info,u are right : it seems that its a higher chance for mercs to fight back against mobs that have shooting attack

is true, mercs attack all the time pink and red players.

yoxoyo used to have mercs at yarkan...sometimes they would attack yarkan or the spawns. If mercs could normaly attack mobs then yarkan would be dead in 30 seconds. lol

False. Yes they can be wasted and abused. But there is nothing saying I can't use them on a multi if I want to to keep a guy 7-8 lvl higher then me from wiping out the whole caravan. Plenty of excuse. Yes you are probably the higher lvl that wishes he could pwn the lower lvls with mercs.

The no excuses thing is just a poorly designed diversion to mask the jealousy :twisted:
