sword n shield or spear?

hi, i was wondering in your opinion what would be better at lvl 37-42.
i dont care about how long it takes to get there just what would be a better choice.
ive made some str characters and im sick of em.
if i went sword and shield i would go full int.
if spear int hyrid
i highly doubt that i will be going on from level 42 due to mass homework :banghead:

oh can you advise what type of protector i should wear

get a hammer or axe ... lol ... this topic has been over discussed. in the gist, which u want, greater dmg Vs defence? ... it's a trade off in your choice. more importantly, which one u ENJOY playing more?

Get both. Adding ghost spear, soul spear, fanning storm thing, and passive only costs like 7k sp up to level 41.
