Pure str Bow or Hybrid Str Bow

there are a lot of discussions about pure str bow and hybrid str bow, but to make a very long story very short : wich one of them is better and do more damage, also if you post then also say why do you THINK it is better.

all depends on gear there is no such thing as a build anymore

Pure str > all with npc gear

yes but they say that bow is a hybrid weapon so imbue+bowskill --> should do more damage with a hybrid str, right ?

Well if its npc you wont have that much of a hybrid in you hence less hp a str will probly 3 -4 hit a hybrid in npc gear and since id figure the str would be in garm it would nuetrilize the little itn dmg you get from beieng hybrid without blues so..

IMO hybrid bow will only work with good gear. If you cant afford good gear go pure str.

Hybrids can be strong, I wont say they cant. BUT they depend more on there gear then pure's in general.

full STR for the crits. If you get your phys balance to 103% + you're gonna love it.

hybrid STR might also be good. But I think being hybrid only lowers the crits without a very significant increase in base damage.
