Errr, log in, if you can't figure out IRC or don't know what it is, don't bother, unless someone else is willing to make a tutorial.

This is the official SilkRoadForums IRC channel.

You maybe be thinking of #silkroad, which is a channel for silkroad-oasis forum, which is comprised of admins who don't even play the game lol.

Here you will find veteran players from the oldest servers, players playing for over a year and admins who play the game.

Well be nice if people started to drop in and say hi.

there was a #silkroadforums channel before, it was a while ago now, it started just before pacific opened i think, because i remember being in it while trying to play on pacific.

I used to be on quakenet a lot for IRC, but not lately. IRC is blocked at our corporate firewall so I can't get in if I wanted to, without breaking policy. I'd rather keep my job. When I'm home, I'm busy taking care of my daughter and spending time with my wife so I'm rarely even at the computer. Well have fun in there everyone.

Is this IRC channel run and owned by the SRF admins, or just a user owned thing? That'd be cool if there was a page on silkroadforums.com/irc or something using software similar to WebIRC or CGI:IRC. Then you could browse the forums as usual or click the IRC tab to chat without downloading software. Maybe they'd need more mods or admins for that though, and I'm not sure of the security issues with it. Just an interesting idea.
