i killed someone cuz i got bored of grinding and then...

I was grinding and saw a one star trader trotting by. I got bored and i killed him. Yep, got a murderer status, got killed by someone, respawn in dw and kept getting damaged inside the city. I got killed again as i tried to rush out the east dw gate. Now i have no murderer status, my names not red, but theres this very disturbing skull in the upper left hand corner, and it says "murderer status 0"

I ignored it until i got killed, and lost a huge amount of exp, and still do if i die. Ive killed about 1000 monsters, and yet, that goddamn skull is still ther. I can ride transports and everything, except that i always lose a huge amount of exp everytime i die to monsters even lower then me.

Can someone explain this? and present a solution?

Walk outside DW South and use the Smile emotion to someone in the green garms

they are NPC and remove your murder status..

The skull is just a reminder that u had pk status. it should disappear in 24 hrs or so. And udont lose any more exp if u die with the skull there as long as your name is no longer red

That's a good way to ruin someone's day and good use of pk'ing. Not only do you make em lose exp, but they also lose all the time and effort they made for the trade as well as loot.

Back when the fake Xenni was still running around Troy, he murdered a few traders for me and laughed at them as I took the loot. It was a beautiful time, indeed.

I killed a goldbot who KS'ed my giant and got an itemdrop.
Then I started killing B robbers, because only bots wonder there (uri spawned 20minutes ago), but an unionmate came by and we hat a cat and mouse game, but I ran into a 7x person he killed me and I droppped a necklace.
The unionperson ressed me and the high level gave back my necklace. I got killed 2more times and Murder was gone.
I was farming but because I was increasing my skills, I didn't lost any SP due to not having it.

All in all it was fun.
