this... is.... absolutely incredible. But I hope the Pacific ban list (with Riodan / Trueblader on it!!!!!!! At least!!!!!) will come out soon. It might also help uncover "legits" as botters as it seems to have done on Xian and Aege.

Why you all so happy? if botters all get ban only noobs left here coz this game very BORING to make handgrind.Joymax then must close like 10 servers coz left not so much guys.
Make legit char and fight with botters this fun
But make legit char and kill 1 hit all other legit players that not fun

But many low lvl guys think if some1 have 72+ acc he 100% bot coz for they 42+ not real=)
So much time im geting pm from this guys but how they can say true bot i or no if they dont see me in traning place?xD

It doesn't matter if you say you are legit or not, JM obviously has a way to detect bots.

Gameguard does not just kick for malicious programs or even suspicious processes, but also records and sends all the information to the Gameguard parent company.

If you haven't heard of Punkbuster, it is just like Gameguard.

Let me illustrate:

Joymax |------| INCA Internet |------| Gameguard |------| Silkroad

Like PB, all data is recorded, and sent to INCA Internet, or whoever controls data flow for GG. This information is then dubbed superfluous or of real concern. After compiling the data, it is then forwarded to Joymax, who takes measures against any users thought to be violating terms.

In this case, most, if not all, of the supposed botters, and subsequent bans, were the effect of weeks or even months of work and investigation through Joymax and its subsidiaries.

There won't be noobs whatso ever, just due to the simple facts that there are people who are actually willing to work to get to a high lvl
Look at my guildmaster, he's lvl 69...all on his own!
Don't go telling me that once bots are gone, it will be boring, cuz It will in fact be a relief to all those ppl who hate bots!
No more ks-ing!
No more traffic! WOOT!
And no server will close!
Do you know how many people aren't playing just because they can't get in?

Yeah...Big ban list woot ^_^...only problem is...I wonder how many of those being caught actually bought silk(serious ammounts that is) or were using P2P bots...probably 75-80% of those banned are poor no-silk-buyers using hand made bots...let's be honest....high level botters who really buy silk are and will be still there, no doubt about it....Honestly, do you think JoyMax has instantly turned all good and cary about it's customers? NO !

PS : Actually I remembered d'loading Cabal online.One of the comments i read was : bots destroyed this beautfiul game.When I installed and ran it, guess what spalshed onto my screen...that's right...GAME GUARD.

Dunno if it is coincidence, but seems like JoyMax, GameGuard and all of those P2P bots are hand-in-hand...the only thing that disturbed their business were those poor-ass botters...and probably that's the reason of the big-banlist and Softmod detection

...IMHO.
