Nuking

What's the point of imbueing before nuking? I see tons of people do that, but does it add damage or something? And what happens if you lightning imbue then do fire nuke?

Also, how long will it take me to get from level 25 to 30 knowing that I grind average 4-6(at least) hours per day at a relatively fast speed? (Pure INT Spear)

Well.

it does nothing...and that skill in itself only protects against magic attacks
but i have seen it used against physical attacks .

and so no it doesnt really affect it

damage..

and i dont see how the imbue protects against magic atk >_<

That's not what I meant lol. I meant does it change something if you do lightning imbue + fire nuke or fire imbue + lightning nuke. And can someone tell me how long it would take to grind, thanks.

What? Adding imbue to your nuke increases the damage you do by a lot. Also if you pure int you should grind with a bow, and if you play 4-6 hours a day, it shouldn't take longer than a few days assuming a zero gap.

imbuing raises damage A LOT...basicly the nuke is like any skill you can use...imbue and damage goes skyrocketing ...and if you use lightning imbue with fire nuke...no problem, since it doesnt matter what imbue and nuke you use...only that you will do a lil less dmg with lightning coz light is weaker than fire...for example i used shock lion shout(light mini-nuke) with fire no problem ....

yeah i think someone got confuesd and thought imbue meant buff. Imbue is the meat of this game. no matter what your build you imbue your weapon with one of the three elements to deal 'actual' damage. Imbuing Nukes makes them far more useful then when you don't imbue the damage difference is pretty great.

Imbue DOES add to damage.

If you use ice imbue with fire nuke, you can freeze them with it Same with lightning, it uses splash damage. Just like fire imbue with ice nuke can burn. Etc.
