The only thing I hate is when you catch a wild magikarp and you want it to evolve into gyarados (because everyone knows that dragon Pokemon own everything [almost]) but then all it has is splash so you have to keep switching pokemon for like 15 levels till it evolves.

LOL, you do realize that dragon pokemon are the most strongest type in the game right? Rayquaza(ancient),charizard(fire),gyarados(water,flying),dragonite(dragon,flying),altaria(dragon.flying),kingdra(water,dragon),latios and latias (ancient)(dragon,flying),salamence(flying,dragon) the list goes on....and on....and on...

And do note, that in all pokemon games the elite4 leader always uses dragon type =P

Ok let me rephrase, dragon attacks suck. At least they do for the original pokemon games. Dunno about crystal/sapphire. Anyways you could beat lance as well as half the dragon pokemon you just listed with a blizzard or iice beam.
