24 would be good, but if your gonna sp farm you should have a 9 lvl gap. or are you just gonna keep a somewhat decent gap and lvl up?

From this point on... you can do one of three things:
1. Start working toward a 9 gap so you can farm for a while.
2. Build your gap to about 3-5 and just level up like normal.
3. Start a new character and farm at level 16. (what I did :D ) (more than once :D :D )

It would be much easier to start over.
Let's say he only has been working on two masteries and has them both at 23.This means he needs at least 16 potions per mastery to get them to level 7. He probably has like 8 skills in each mastery that he needs to get rid of, so that's a total of 48 potions he needs. That is 480 curst hearts he needs to get as drops. I would kill myself... In the time it takes you to get all those hearts, I could get 2 or more characters up to level 16 with a 9 gap already deleveled from 20.

If you decided you wanted to farm at level 16 (since this is when you would gain sp the fastest at ANY level) you would either have to bring that character to a lower level, or raise a new one to a higher level. Above, I said it would be easier to make a new one than trying to get your skills down.

If this idea does not appeal to you, then just build your gap and level up with it. A 4 or 5 gap should be decent for now.
