And I said half, not all.

Everyone who complains about CS:S are poor to mediocre 1.6 players that got pwnt when they first tried it out and they refuse to learn a new game (considering engine and physics are completely different). Or, they saw the hitbox video when the game was launched and haven't tried it since it was fixed.

When I see a 1.6 player make the switch, first thing they say is "source is so BS, no recoil so easy". Then after playing real players they complain that the hitboxes are buggy, because they get owned. Afterwards, they learn how the physics work and get decent. Finally, they get owned by players who have been playing source since beta, and classic cs for several years - get pwnt and cry hackers.

I used to be one of those "ZoMg LAWL source S00o0o0 ez 1.6 pwn lar", but after finally giving source more then a dozen hours I switched. The same thing happened to be when it switched from WON to steam, I sticked with 1.5 until it was closed down, resulting in my 5 and 6 digit steam ids, instead of 3s and 4s.

(<- playing since v1.1c, 5 years and 10 months)

Are you using the right rates? Sometimes when I play on servers with the auto-adjust rates only 1/10 people will be using non defaults.

add me to steam: pimp_master_dom@hotmail.com (made the account when I was like 13 -.-)

Agreed.
Config files can make you so much better.

Personaly CS is overrated, Joint Operations is still a good game after all these years, but takes more skill than usual. Rainbow six Vegas is a 3rd person but a hell of a shooter (if you can run it)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ya, the hitboxes suck, but everyone I've talked to has said that source is better.
