I am lvl 79 hybrid int, about 5 lvls into str. I wear garment beacuse you have to beable to stand up to int, if in armor ints own your face. If your in protect at my lvl the ints still hit hard unless you have all +5 gear or sosun on. People say, but if garment wont strs gang up on you? I haave +3 garments on wit good blues on them and I can tank str like no tomorrow. Unless they have a +7 or sosun in there hands.

Just get garments, you are int hybrid so you have the extra str points to tank strs, and the garment helps with the ints. Atleast have it all +3 Buy or make good jewlry, it makes a difference people.

Dont switch armors, the gear in the higher levels 72-77 are way stronger compared to SoS +3's

3. hybrids use protector
4. int hybrids... can use prot or armor... i recomand armor

all of my chars wear GARMENT simply because of the run speed increase.

even a pure int in garms is good if the garms are +3 or better with int, str, and parry on every piece, and hp on the head chest and legs.

i will forever wear garms on all my chars until the end of time and then i will continue to wear garms.

Int(garm) vs. Str(armor)
Int wins

Int(garm) vs. Str(garm)
can go both ways

It all depends on your +s and blues on your gear. And you weapon.
Weapon these days should be only +5 or higher, lucky if you find soSun.

stay protector, since you're hybrid-int. imo it's the best for that kind of build since you ARE hybrid -- pure strs usually go garm cause they have enough hp to support themselves, and pure ints go armor since they don't have enough hp.

i love pure ints with garments.

i am using a glavier (lvl63) right now. and i can kill lv 70 pure ints garm with just one/two soul spear+one mars

overall, ints shouldnt even be in garms.

EDIT: it's not as if garms can keep you alive against nukes either, if ure pure/close to pure int.

no one full str with less than lvl 77 can kill me, except if he have sosun, and with 77+ it depends a lot of build and gear...

ok, for full str i will be better in prot or armor... but i fight with full ints and hybrids too, and the better for that is garment without doubt^^

The only time I used Garment for a Nuker, was for farming and PvP against other pure ints. That was when I had armour, but now I have prot so no switch is needed.

Second of all, in pvp he'll have his ass kicked by almost any pure str or hybrid...

Pretty much 2-hitting monsters anyway, it's not like he's got to tank a mob for any length of time.

Garment is the way to go in PVP if you don't want to get one shotted by all the other nukers out there. Glaivers rape nukers that don't have a shield anyway, s/s for PVP adds enough physical defense and blockrate to stay alive long enough to nuke or run.

Then again, I'm used to having cooldowns and skill to worry about when choosing spells to use in PVP AND PVE since I haven't played SRO in awhile.

If you are totally hybrid, like not even 100% mag% in to 90s some where for your balance I guess go prot. But Int should go garm and pimp them out, that mean 100% blues and str cant drop you unless they have just ass crazy gear or better. If ints go armor, well I'll just one shot them and teach them a lession.

Stay prot, most of these guys have no idea what they're talking about.

Prot is the best armor, because in a pure str vs. pure str battle, sometimes one guy has armor, but the other guy has garment, the armor guy wins. But then along comes a nuker and owns him. The smart guy will take protector, because the garment guy in the first place only loses by a bit, but the extra physical protection from protector helps him win that one, and keeps him alive with nukers...

Anyways, that's alittle wierd, but protector really is the best, especially if you're hybrid. Look at it this way:

Pure str: High Physical Protection Low Magical Protection
Garment: Low Physcial Protection High Magical Protection
Outcome: High Physical Protection High Magical Protection

Pure int: Low Physcial Protection High Magcial Protection
Armor High Physical Protection Low Magical Protection
Outcome: High Physical Protection High Magical Protection

Hybrid: Medium Physical Protection Medium Magical Protection
Protector: Medium Physical Protection Medium Magical Protection
Outcome: High Physical Protection High Magical Protection

Anyways... Just stay prot. Trade your sos garment chest for a sos protector chest.

, and since prot/armor has better phy. defense, go for armor/prt
