Here is an announcement from the offical SRO website of a new pet type to be added in a patch this month:

Silkroad Online wrote:We will introduce the new type of fish pet which can be possessed and brought up by a character. Only one of each of the growth pet (grey wolf / white wolf / fish) types can be summoned simultaneously. While wolf pet uses physical attack, fish pet makes magical attack via status effect.

Features of a fish pet
Attack an enemy with its master.
Learn new skills.
Inflict abnormal status effects (poison / darkness / zombie).
Can change appearance.
From time to time it can die.

The fish can be purchased at the stables of each town. After purchasing the fish summon scroll, clicking the right mouse button on the summon scroll will summon the fish. Character's level must be 42 or higher. When a character is in battle, dead, or having shield equipped, the pet cannot be summoned. Fish pet must allow to rest in lake each day.

Fish pets become stronger as they grow up. A good company of the character within the game, we ask for our users' interest in the fish pet.
