Hard Choice

I am as of now a pure str fire bower with light and ice buffs. atm i am farming and i was wondering, when i finished farming should i delevel pacheon for bicheon to become a blader. its a hard choice because i would be giving up my long range and fast leveling for being a great tanker in player versus player.

Blader = Greatly Tanks mobs and players, more def but slow leveling
Bower= Able to tank mobs and players, less def but faster leveling.

it would be great if someone with experience helps or gives advice at least.

It's really personal preference and you pretty much listed the reasons why you would use either. It could be that you've been playing bow for a while and feel like trying something new. I
've never played str blader(too lazy to level) but I have had a pure str bow and IMO bow is the inferior weapon out of the three only because it offers no stopping power against others (like kd/stun) . It is a hard choice but in the end, you should go with what you would think you'll have the most fun with. Heh I'm right now also trying to decide whether I should go S/S or spear after I finishing farming at den.

if it is me...my next char if full farm early...

bicheon and pacheon as main,fire,light...although 0 gap,bow should be faster than blade...maybe...

pacheon skill are as strong as bicheon, at least i think so
the only thing is pacheon skills have lower minimum damage

so maybe if you change to bicheon there wont be much of a difference

bows have a little bit stronger weapons though

Go for a bow. You will level faster, and be decent in PvP too. However, you need to be skilled in PvP in order to be succesful. Consider that bows will take every hit you throw at them and do not have any specific advantage over other builds, except for the insane crits. Pros: great crits, good leveling; cons: low defence, somewhat lacking PvP.
Bladers level very slow, but in the end, it might be worth it. You will have extra def. from shield+block, and almost as many HP as a glaive.
The drawbacks are the small damage/slow leveling. The following sums it up: Pros: can't be killed, slow levelingm cons: can't kill.

Your choice in the end, but my personal preference is a bow.

Just switch to blader now, here is the cold hard truth:

Bow sucks, not just in pvp, but in pve. SERIOUSLY! I mean, I'm not bow, but I've seen some bow guys leveling around me, and this is what happens:
I nuke kill a mob, then they're still charging their strong bow attack.
I pick up my stuff, run over to another and nuke it.
They've finished firing their bomb arrow attack, and they're firing their critical shot.
I pick up my stuff and just manage to kill another mob when they finish off their mob with an arrow combo.

Sorry I don't know the names of pacheon attacks, only bicheon and heuksal.

When I watch bladers level, I'm only able to pick up my second drop and then they've killed their mob, so they level faster.

SERIOUSLY, bow levels really slow. And I'm not a noob, I'm lv 52 and I'm reffering to people killing ishades/hashades. There's some video of a guy who gets to level 51, and he's an ice blade, and he's able to kill an ishade in one heaven chain, and a normal attack (which is really good).

Bow is terrible, I LOOOOVVVEEEE the way their attacks look, I love bomb arrow (I think the first book is called beserker arrow...)

Anyways, be blade.

his story is completely false. Those are noob bowers that hes seeing, any true archers knows not to use that insane charging skill when there are nukers around, youll get KSed like crazy.

Instead archers should use the anti-devil series, high damage with slow charge time, about a nuke i believe, 1st 2 books less.

you are a little noob with ur lvl 5x. with lvl 5x u know nothing about, pvp, pve, w/e. bow is the fastest lvling weapon of full str builds. they are even as good as full ints. so if u ..... noob don't know about weapons, play style and builds, just stfu.

ps: who ever uses strong bow in pve or pvp, is a noob

Strong bow: in PvP it's useless. When zerking against a giant/unique it really pays off to use Strong bow before lv 69 After 69, demon arrow is better. Don't just call everyone noob. I refrained from doing so myself simply because I do not want to start a flame. Think before you post.

u better think. i have enough experience with archers and some of my guild mates are archer too (btw: they're all 7x). instead of using strong bow, u better use anti devil book 3 and 2. they cost u not much more time, but u make more dam with em. and if they crit, u make more damage anyway. so dude, stop posting b/s, when u don't know how to play an archer.

if u don't believe, try it.

I've played an archer to 70, so don't tell me I don't know how to play them. I've deleveled strong bow at 69, but in the 3x-4x levels, strong bow is really useful. Anti devil bk2+bk1 is shit. It does less damage then strong bow/.

bk3+bk2 is good indeed, But you can do strong bow + 4 hit multi-arrow instead, in the same period of time.
