"nude" patch tutorial =x

well I've been reading alot about pk2 editing , lots of topics about it,
and i haven't really seen anyone go into detail on how to do the "nude" patch
i've also seen people request it (kind of). and this doesnt have to be handled immaturely, i liked this post that Moogie made about the subject.

I truely pity you. You miss the entire point of things like this in your massively naive assumption that all anybody wants out of nudity is to gain sexual pleasure from it. How about holding your poison tongues for a second longer and considering a healther point of view, before branding everyone as predators of the flesh or "sick" and "perverted"? It is you who needs to sit in a room, alone, and consider what upbringing has caused you to become so offended by beauty, and so disgusted by those who actually appreciate it.

If I ever figured out how to make such a patch, I would release it for everyone to enjoy. Why not? I'm sure most people DO only want it for sexual gratification, but then, it is nothing we can't see in the real world anyway. So what really is the problem with that, if it were to come with an age requirement?

On the other hand, there are those of us who would want it for the beauty of the body, and that is perfectly fine too. Your opinions are as incredible as they are heartbreaking. It is people like you who make the rest of us lose a little bit of our faith in humanity every time you come up with such garbage and try to force it like gospel upon everybody else.

In summary, shove your accusatory faux indignation back up your butts, where I'm sure you keep all such ridiculous opinions.

so i'm asking if Somone can write a easy tutorial/guide on how to do this.

Writing a tutorial for this that everyone would get would be exceptionally hard. You have to replace quite a few files and it can be fairly confusing. If you want to try to figure it out yourself, here's the finished files. You just need to figure out where to paste them over in Data.pk2.

the hex editor says "string not found" , but i can see it with the pk2 extractor, just not in the hex editor

For the BSR files, your best chance on finding them is to do a search for something contained within them. For example, you could try searching for the BMS path which is contained within the BSR file.

well i've searched for every possible thing in data.pk2 , even down to just .bsr , it couldn't find anything inside data.pk2 with the extension .bsr
i also tried media.pk2 , found some monster bsr files but no clothes, thought i'd give it a try.
could use some help on this>.>

I wouldn't think there would be any bsr files, since naked stuff doesn't show in your inventory?

Are you sure that you are searching in ANSI? You won't find the references right if you search in Unicode.

Yeah, but there still has to be BSR files for the pajamas.

There is no tut for it since one of the hardest to do it even if u know
hex editing.
(there is one on this forum, but to understand it is an other thing, if ppl
can do it by that tut they deserve it)

It involves of searching for a byte login test logout, when found usually
forgetting on what address it was changed. (needed 50+ try)

When done it looks like ksro default.

Next involves texture editing, ps-cs2, plugin, texture editor.

And y do we do it: Game boring this is a change to see if we can do it.

And y it is not released but used by a few:
If everyone downloads it and using it, game would be forced to go offline,
until jm fixes it to comply with international laws (sro isn't rated M)

i thought it was rated A for adult or else y is the server full during school times?

Well, for me is very good a change of weapons and armors/garments for a while.

I was tired to see my nuler with the same clothes and weapons, but a little change in pk2 made all the difference. :wink:

btw this is a game which cridlen use and if you want to see "naked" people running around im sure their will be websites to satisfy your needs instead of a childrens game

I'm not sure if this can be actually called a "children's game", it's true children use it, but in this game there are complex features like alchemy or the changing economy, which sometimes are difficult to understand for very young people... besides the bloodbath of a body cut in half an Hyungno homeland hehe
I support people who says that a "nude" patch would make the game more realistic... besides, it's not a "nude" patch really, if you see ksro screenshots or videos, you can notice that they wear "lighter" underwear, but that does look like a real underwear, not a full pijama...
I'd say a ksro-like patch would be good. For example, many people thinks that a male char look better barechested. But that's not possible in the current graphics system.
Just my opinion.
Have a nice grinding people, despite the boredom it causes...

I'm not sure how to replace the files... I am using HexEdit from catch22.net, I don't know of any pk2 file editors, although I've extracted everything from data.pk2 and compared the zipped files you posted to find them in data.pk2... I started with prim/......../woman_item/clothes_00_ba.bms found the original bytes and replaced them with yours but it failed. Any more info on what each file is, or a quick walkthrough that you don't expect everyone to get?

I feel like a dumbass as well. I can't find any of the nude mods.

And well the link at the top of the page doesn't work. I tried nudecreator but the damn thing keeps timing out and I can't download!
