Situation : Recently i started going to scorpions. The disadvantages of a bowman became more obvious. Despite the low life, it requires 4 scorpions, 1 champ, a few crits, and 1 sec lag to bring me down. The whole process takes less than 3 secs. Addition to that, i was charging my skill at one of them. Practically just charging... I began to realize that the charging time was a big disadvantage for int build.
What's in my mind now : I'd really like some char that could deal moderate dmg and yet be able to handle these situation with ease. Spear have a very nice splash area dmg, but i don't think it differs too much with bow, just that the dmg is higher. Now I am thinking about using sword. The shield would really be useful i think. I observed that sword's nuke dmg is higher than my current dmg(i do not know whether they are pure int or not)
The questions :
1)As a hybrid, will sword be any better than bow? Since by 2 more levels, i can learn nukes which i will not mind about melee or range.
2)Will sword's nuke deal more dmg than bow?
3)Let say if i really change to sword, as a hybrid, will i need to learn the sword skills? (I will be learning nukes for sure)
Please help me to clear my doubts before i start changing my skills...
