Time killer, hobby, something to do when I'm not at work. I can't go to sleep satisfied at the end of the day unless I've killed something in a videogame. Also it's something I hope to soon do less of, life is charging forward, and there's less time to sit on my ass and play games all day like I used to.

For me games are just time killers...BUT, not at summer time, coz then there is plenty of things to do...and you really dont want to play games when there is so nice weather
But even at summer time is a bad weather, so time killers goes to work again...
But sometimes it's a stress reliever, when i'm mad, or just confused i just search for Serious Sam CD, and then i fill up all game by my anger...after 30mins of playing, i just stfu

It's just the Farking truth, WoW, SRO blah blah... anything.
Lots of you people have high hope about your 'professional gaming' or being a game producer or maker. How many of you will make that goal? It's idiotic to think that you can eek through your youthful years, wasting your brain power to hope for a career that should it ever be presented to you, you don't have the knowledge to capitalize the opportunity.
Playing game doesn't translate to making games. You might be able to get a QA/QC job which pays around what, $12-$14/hour?
Go take an initiative. Go learn drawing, programming, making movies and models. Then you can talk about your "dreams".
It's called tough love. Deal with it.

1) hobby
2) a realy good time killer ( as it takes ages to log on silk )
3) just for fun ( way of having fun with peps who live far from u )
4) Stress reliever
5) keeps me out of streets
probs there are more reasons but mainly games are time killers.

For me gaming is my dream career. I plan to graduate as a game designer, and be part of a respected company one day. Gaming is part of my life.
Now the real question is:
What does gaming mean to YOU?
i used to want to be a game designer or play games for living, but i do it now just for fun and getting to know people. good way to relieve stress or gain it. it calms me down.
