Really need help

Post by gsman93 »

Well today I decided to install SRO on my laptop. When it finally finished installing and updating on the launcher I clicked on start. This message came up:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Games\Silkroad Online\Silkroad\sro_client.exe

abnormal progam termination

Any help on what I can do to stop this message coming up will be appreciated. I really want to get on and play.

that happens every time I start SRO for the first time after going to sleep mode and probably hibernate on laptops too. Dunno why but SRO is retarded like that cuz they suck at programming. Dunno if downloading the latest Visual C runtime library would help but hey, why not lol

Any directory. Then you run the file. I'm not sure it works right though.

Otherwise, go to Windows Update and update everything. Update all drivers. Also update DirectX.
*To find the drivers for your system, go to the website of the motherboard manufacturer, and under the "Downloads" section, you can find drivers for your computer. Note that these drivers may not be the latest version, you may need to then go to the website of company that makes the specific driver to find the latest version.
*Alternatively, use an online service like radarsync.com , however, be aware it may not be very accurate.
