Same thing was happening to me. I trained in axe mastery 1, but couldn't use the axe mastery 2 skillbook. Still dont know why, I'm way over the level required and everything.

Hmm, looks interesting. If the game is more based on solo grinding than party grinding(like sro is), I might try it out. Can someone answer this for me?

i knew some ppl get confused w/ the skill system :banghead:

i played it for 2 weeks before the trial was over so here is how u get skills:

every player lvl increase ur skill cap (every skill counts as 1 so 1 lvl = 1 skill)
to raise ur skills (chains for example) u gotta buy books to lvl it up
each book costs from 1k-millions or billions
each book gives 10% to the current skill

(this is as far as i remember but might change over time)

a few questions:
1) how's the lag?
2) how's the grind? is it a grindfest?
3) is it party oriented? (you lvl A LOT faster and easier with a party, not just a bit)
4) how big is the map?
5) how many lvls are there in total?
6) which server are u guys in?

I have the correct level skillbook, I have only like 6 skills, and my level is 30. I don't see why it won't let me learn the 2nd level of a skill I have.

1) Lag isn't bad, you will notice a small delay in attack-damage, but other than that it's fine.
2) Hardly any grind, you "switch" every so often to catch up with quest skill levels. That way you can do them without getting your ass kicked. And there are plenty of quests to get you along.
3) Not exactly, early on it's a pretty solo game, but as you go you will need help taking on tougher mobs. The experience is divided, so you'll have to use teamwork to attack harder foes.
4) The world appears to have two seperate areas, one for PVP and one for the PVE game. Both are fairly large, but not holyshitwtfhuge.
5) I believe the level cap is 99, not sure though.
6) I play on Hades.

I have a few questions about registering. What should I fill in for the "Identity Card" and "Contact Number" parts. I have no idea what it is asking for. Should I just put in a bunch of random letters/numbers?

for which game? ryl? the quest inference almost explains it all, and it tells u ur progress in %, it tells wat mobs to kill and weather u can solo or pt to finish it

the only hard quest for me is the quest that u have to find a guy that seems to be in the center of the town, hes on top of a spiral hill that u go round and round... u need to kill lvl10 mobs even tho u get it at lvl1 u get a B+ wep for ur job i believe

If you're playing right now I can help you. IGN is Taivas, level 30 defender. I also figured out the skill training issue. Turns out you have to learn skill 1 books over and over until your skill level reaches level 2, and so on. A bit tedious, but worth it.

I've got a level 40 something or so Assassin on Hades.. if anyone wants it they can have it.. you just have to wait untill I re-download/install the game to figure out the acc/pass.

Yeah the skillbook system is a bit weird.. wait untill they cost 1mil+ and are harder to find.

I've never really liked MMO's with the whole "buy this book to learn this skill" thing.. just another thing to buy on top of armor, weapons, potions, in this case food, etc.

Well in the pirate village, on the right of the Human Aurmour NPC, there is a girl. Talk to her. This is by the main tree near the gate at the bottom.

There was an artifact on my video card (Dont over clock Video cards xD) And it looked like she had no head.. looked kinda creepy for an NPC

Only downside is that I never remembered RYL2 lagging so bad. My framerate dies after I've been around the pirate village a few times. I first played RYL2 on a old 5600FX and it ran better than it does now on a 6800GT.

+1. Im getting some pretty bad framerate lag in town even though the min req are a lot lower than some other games I play which run fine.
