Another soul lost to WoW...

MARKsman7328 started playing SRO in April of 2006. This was the very first MMORPG he had ever played, and he loved it. In fact, he became addicted. He joined a guild full of rl friends shortly after turning lvl 12. The guild was RoyalBlood.

RoyalBlood was led by n1ck, an old neighbor of MARKsman7328. He had started the guild, and by now it was lvl 2. Eventually he became busy with rl and passed leadership on to Airyina, another of MARKsman7328's rl friends. Sadly, n1ck was never very active again, and went off to play Lineage II. Airyina was a good guild leader, taking the guild past lvl 3. He too, however became inactive and passed the leadership on to BlackWraith, another of MARKsman7328's rl friends. Airyina eventually went on to play WoW. By now, MARKsman7328 had hit his peak in SRO, lvl 40.

BlackWraith went on to play WoW, and with JM's steadily declining customer service and a huge increase in bots, MARKsman7328 had thoughs of following. Fortunately, he had an ig friend, Draquish, who talked him out of WoW. It would be months before WoW ever made it onto MARKsman7328's computer.

MARKsman7328 went to join Pacific, along with the rest of RoyalBlood, the day it opened. He, along with a rl friend, Princess_Kai, remade RoyalBlood on Pacific with Princess_Kai as guild leader. MARKsman7328 took this opportunity to make a blade character instead of a bow. This character became known as Nacho.

Unfortunately, this past weekend MARKsman7328 was unable to log onto SRO due to server traffic. Frusterated, he decided to install WoW and use his 10-day free trial. So he did. He played on the same server as his friends Airyina and BlackWraith and realized how much better WoW is than SRO. Not to say SRO is bad, for it does have much potential. But let's face it, WoW pwns SRO in every way except graphics. These MARKsman7328 will miss.

To make a long story short, MARKsman7328 is going tomorrow to BestBuy to buy a 2-month timecard for WoW. He will stop actively playing SRO. This is the end.

I would like to thank all of the players who have remained legit over the months and who have helped me or anybody else. If everybody was like you, I might still play SRO. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I may come back one day when the Euro expansion hits iSRO, or for an occasional trade run or two with my guildies. Until then though, this is goodbye. Continue to stay legit everybody, and please do try your best to defeat the bots. I hope that for those of you who have actually read this very long obituary of sorts are compensated with one less player making server traffic. SRO will always be a classic in my book. It is hard to say goodbye. I will always remember you.

So wait you wrote an autobiography of ur time in SRO and the conclusion that led you to WoW in biography style?

lol, that is technically schizophrenic of you.

Which server are u on in WoW, I am thinking of trying the trial out myself.

And I am not going to say sorry for leaving, that’s really gay, its SRO F2P come back whenever the hell u want to. I doubt SRO or the community will notice for more then a day.

Just don't join a god dam PvE server on WoW, it was my biggest mistake.

please nobody beg for my stuff. i have not left sro, i am just inactive. besides, if i were to give my stuff away, my rl friends who still play and then my guildies have 1st dibs.

if u used to play SRO, you will come back after some time WoW.

I promised. So much more diff, the I WANNA BE THE BEST-drive is so much higher on SRO because its so dam easy to get full kharazan (like sosun 8d) on WoW.

update:

i did not go to best buy and buy WoW. I went to Circuit City. And now i am a lvl 10 shaman.
