The words on the map are slightly off right now, but as far as the actual map is concerned, perfect :)

the normal map looks like hand drawn, check it out next time you log in. the one he has is like a map made from your minimap (without bringing the big map out).

rev6 has already released a zipped file containing all the textures show in the mini-map, including the ones you have right now...

Doesn't matter. That is out of game. The goal of this is to replace the sketchy ingame map with the minimap instead so that you can view large portions of the minimap when you press M.

i actually liked the handdrawn-style map :( too much bf2 for me.

the locations of the npcs are wrong tho =\
storage is NORTH of the fountain >_< and the drug store and the blacksmith are higher up...

What bothered me the most about the in-game map was the non-existent gap in the mountains southwest of the Bandit Den.
