Isy doesn't want me to kill here

Here is a short story about all my encounters with isy, i have had several so far none where a succes

First encounter: level 53 doing ishades quest: first one with her, i was to chicken to even attack her.
Second encounter: white face Spider quest: this time i followed the advice the they said on this forum, get in and hit her for the exp. Result i died 12 times seeing a glavier taking the kill

***break***

Isy hunting time
Third encounter: center of Karokaram, again i was the closest and did first damage. Got owned by a level 68 with a sos +7 glaive
Fourth encounter: center of Karokaram, first again and immediately shouted 'here' in pt chat before hitting her once. I lost the kill to a nuker with 110 mag. balance 2 levels lower then me, which was in my party

***break***

Just now i was doing level 63 inventory expansion quest (outta GT and sick of niya guards), thinking, you never know she will spawn now and at spider forest...
And she did... Again first with her and after some chitchat striking her at full speed. That is, at full frozen speed. Out of pills so i was frozen like 75% of the time seeing more and more players comming in and again losing to kill to a nuker.

I really really think i should forget about killing isy and concentrate on Yarkan... Or maybe she doesnt want a cute guy like me kill her

id rather go for yarkan, isy dies too fast

yarkan stays alive a little bit to actually have a chance.

i say at least keep trying until you get her at least once

then you'll feel better.

i'm still going to try to get uru at least once even tho i'm at 57 now... i've gotten to attack him twice, but twice he was taken out by a 64+

i probably had some kind of chance when a 64 glaiver was zerking him tho... but he was there before i got there so he ended up taking the kill.

no hating tho, he got the kill fair and square, and he wasn't one of those high lvls who keep going for the low lvl uniques all the time.

i guess i'll just have to try again until i get it

maybe but yarkans' mages turn me into a roasted beef

My 42 blader doesn't even get to touch tg. She gets killed in 30 seconds.

. Gotta keep trying.

Don't get discouraged, it takes time to get a unique kill. I had a similar grudge war going with uri...hunted him since L43 or so on my glavier, and didn't manage to kill him until... L59. I could finally outdamage the 6x only because I found him early and was able to get enough damage in to get the kill.

Worse thing with Isy is not really her, but her spawns. They pwn anything below 65. LoL, I've even went down a few times at 66 b/c of them. 3 words - elite white spiders. Ow.

You really don't stand a chance of getting Isy until you get 8th degree weapon, and have a party of guild/uni members to help you get kill! I've got her twice - L65 and L67. We had a union party (3 of us) that banged on her. The second was a non-party effort.

No way to deal a decent amount of damage without 100% ice resistance, those spiders are just too pesky. Make sure you have that flame shield buffed and your jewelry maxed for ice resistance.

It'll happen for you. If anything go through the motions and try to find her spawn points and the quickest way to search them. Remember places she is more likely to spawn and play those spawn points first - unless you have a full 8 man xp share party you can't possibly cover all the bases by yourself.

Hunt in off-peak hrs. I got the 2nd Isy kill because no one else was looking for her.

If you catch her off in one of the non-ice spawn points, get her off of the road quick! Hit her enough to where she follows, and run as far off of the road as she is willing to follow. This 1) keeps others from easily finding her 2) buys you time for your party to arrive.

i was grinding lvl 38 and uri just shows up and kils me and agian 3 more times :banghead:

so your not the only one buddy cheer up im lvl 47 now i think ill have a chance

well i think it's level 63.

I don't feel grudge really, i will get her anyway. The main thing is: i have been lucky finding her or spawning on me that this can't continue.
Tomorrow she's mine :p
