Computer Hell!

IM BACK

Kind of.

Earlier this week, was working along and my computer starting lagging big time.

So I thought, I got too many models open. Closed a bunch of windows and let it crunch a while.

That crunching sound was the new virus norton found 2-3 days ago as their latest threat.

Stupid thing ate every EXE on my workstation.

OK, so after Farking around trying to get norton to work properly, things started breaking left and right. Couldn't even add or remove programs anymore, and programs wouldnt even run.

Full reinstall on my workstation.

Sigh.

NO clue.

I dont visit anything considered 'malicious'. Just my forums / bank

And Im not dumb enough to open the 999 emails I get with attachments from people I don't know

Unless I accidently click one... Im not sure

But I swear! I didn't go anywhere =(

Norton is pretty much a fuck-up program.. It has been proven, that if you somehow try to remove it, it injects a trojan >_<..

The only right way to remove it is with a shredder :wink:
