Farming at 64+.

Im a int hybrid spear. I will use D8 sos set + sos weapon, i want to farm in the cave, i want to get D8 drops and i will have a 9 gap.

What lvl is the best to farm and what mobs shall i farm?
Post your what u think and why. I would prefer that people who post have farmed at 64+ and i dont want "guesses".

personally i had a constant gap, but imo for a 9 level gap in the future id get masterys at 67 then farm on niya snipers at 76, im an int heavy hybrid and can kill snipers in soul spear soul. (with wolf, though sometimes i have to mars) but if you going to stay in the cave and farm sooner then no idea

the reason im choosing the cave is that takla will be crowded with botters and people trying to reach the cap.
but maybe that's stupid. i dont know really.

If your going to wait that long to farm, farm with a 72+5 weapon and not a 64, that's stupid. The whole point of an sos weapon is that it's sooo much stronger for that specific level. The longer you level with it the less of an advantage the sos is. Might as well go and do it at 72. If not farm at 64. It's completely useless to farm at any other level 64+

I farmed at 67-68 becuase 9 gap and i get to keep soul spear soul.

I'm doing all mine at 64 with a nice bow, like any game, the higher you go up the more things cost. So i'm farming and farming and farming sp at lvl 64, and i've boxed about 85473 sp as of now at 84.60 percent and just from selling stuff back to the npc guys and selling elixirs and armors i find on a stall account i'm up 40mil so far. That just bought my 66 earrings 68 rings and necky all pimped (i have my full garm set already 1st of 8th degree). So i'll spend the second half saving for my 72 weapon and 2nd grade 8th degree. Unless your buying gold do it at whichever you prefer. As for 72 I don't know what to hunt yet because i'm not there. In the first room in caves is where I hunt it's lvl 62 stuff. I can 1 hit most of it if I crit (see my topic for ss) and it's pretty fast. I get 188sp to 224 sp per kill with no ticket on which means every 2 kills is 1 sp or with ticket on every 1 kill is an sp. Plus it's in the first room of caves and easy to duck out for a break and not far from donwhang to repair ect.. Best of luck I need to get to bed.

int heavy hybrid should belong to nachal room. 64 the best to take full advantage of your sos64 spear.

My advice is try different mobs out. And then stay at the ones you can 1 or 2 hit(skill). Since you have a sos protector set, you should be fine with the physical mobs in there and if you keep to easy killed mobs, you won't spend more gold then you get back.

If possible, try getting fire resistance when fighting warriors. Saves up alot of gold spent on uni pills. Not to speak of hp pots when the unis run out.

Have to agree with liquidsmooth that you will get more out of your sos at 64 then at a higher level. So start farming as soon as you get there.

thanks guys. i think ill farm at 64 then, or ill try it and if i dont like it ill lvl up and farm at higher lvl.

Farm at lvl 64 with me in caves! Only bad thing is I deleveled my masteries to 55, so I don't have Soul spear soul anymore and I'm not gonna be able to get Hardfire protection til 66 :banghead:

Oh yeah, they drop good alchemy in caves ^^

dont take my words ... u should try it out @ 64. and if u think u can handle them, then try changing to normal garments instead, works good against the nachals. also advisable to up ur fireshield and alchemy to be zombie immune.

@ 72, it's not all loom and gloom, with 72+5 weapon, visit the nachals again and see if u can 1hit them.
