The main things that people quit for aren't themselves with self control, just when they get hacked/scammed/lose a valubale item or friend or something irl happens like they have to re-sit 6 exams out of 10

Something like that wakes the person up to tell them they have a problem.

yes. All these kids who are 12-16. well they are screwed. Most likely there addicted and cant wait to get home to play. When there school life ends what will happen? will they be smart and move onto colege and spend same amount of time on sro or will they quit there life and just play lol.

i used to play alot after i finished college. i dossed around sro for a year.

But now i have a full time job and and i realise how bad sro is on our lives.

Thnkfully i have it undercontrol now. but there were times when id be on a long time and not care.

you need a main focus in life b4 SRO otherwise your screwed

and about changin personality. well thats nuthing to do with it. People who curse and flame all the time on game and forums arejust idiots. They most likely do not like there lives to its kind of like bullying. When you are jelous you bully. when you are insecure or sumthing you feel the need to flame on the game because your "hiding behind your pc and no one can touch you" rather sad but people do it.

In other words. you wouldnt go into a pub and flame people. you no would get wacked. so yeah... people who do it on the pc are morons who are scared in real life

at 16, you are still a kid, and kids play games, enjoy SRO like any other game. If you want to be great at it, fine, but set rules (i like Glorfindal's comment about tea and music), know when you have enough, but that doesn't mean you have to quit it entirely.

I know its exciting, but if SRO is the most exciting thing in ur life right now, you may need to reevaluate your life, definitely school is not fun, but hey, take the time to enjoy school, coz after you graduate, you'll wish you're back in school (where you only have to worry about grades not money/job/other "grown up stuffs").

in short my advice, don't quit SRO entirely, coz if you do, u might find yourself addicted to something else, i say play it, set timetable like how many hours per day/week and stick to it.

i suggest you take breaks from time to time
you don`t need to quit the game to be able to combine life and the game.

make sure you go out as much as you can in weekends (do things with friends) because connecting is already hard anyway saves you a lot of stress and gives you the balance with life

make a list with playing time each day
give it to your parents and tell them to cut down the list.
simply put out the pc or the internet cable after a certain time, it will result in a lot of stress but in the end you will be glad and control your playing habits.

im still trying to quit this game. its been almost a month. i still log-in sometimes but only when im hanging out with my friends at the internet shop . I used to be good at basketball, and now i suck at it. i havent played basketball since christmas coz ive lost interest on it. lol

I was thinking the same thing, then i remembered i havent been taking my A.D.D. pills ( no joke) and started dojng better in school. So go get tested for A.D.D and if you have it you egt pills that make you "care" mroe about school. It is awesome.

omg lol i been through this couple of times aswell
comin home from school turn on pc play games

but at every game so far i just completely deleted them, like some in this topic have said already, and really it helps.

im now 21 i play sro every now and then just to waste some time. if sro bores me i play some counterstrike with friends.. but mostly im at work, watching movies, goin into town, having fun lol.
dont let the games take control of you - you might "pwn" many noobs in here but as you grow older and need to get a job and you didnt do ur best at school, youll understand why you had to quit teh games lol

~ and no im not one of the guys that did a bad job at school and has no job now

im just a normal dutch guy who managed to combine some gamin with my studies and is doin uni now, internship in australia, graduatin next year XD

hope u guys also figure this all out on time
