sos accesories helpful?

For example are sos accesories worth it (neckalces/rings/earrings) ? And why? I mean is it worth to have sos accesories considering the price? Is that difference in damage reduction great enough?

anything sos is going to make a difference in dmg reduction.... there are a few threads out there which say that accessories make more difference in dmg reduction than the clothing although i haven't gone and tested this out myself. it's up to u to decide whether you want to spend so much on sos in terms of anything you use.

see that's the thing, i 'can' buy sos accesories but i'm just not sure if they are worth it. I mean they don't show any defense counters. All the show is the absorption, how useful can they possibly be to defense? I'll try to do a search maybe i'll find an answer :banghead:

When you're fighting a nuker your accessories will make
a huge difference.

well as far as i know, the absorption is a percentage or something, and they add up. so if you have a total of 10% absorption, you would take 900dmg instead of 1000 when fighting some mob. but im not sure how they add up, do u just add the numbers?

Are you sure its a percent?

Doesn't all protector have an absorption value?

When you equip your accessory doesn't your stats just go up in a linear fasion, just like equiping a chest peice?
Im at work so I cant check this.

It is worth it if you are high level and have them alchemied with maxed status reduce, since you can ware them for longer if they are sosor better.

Also... If you can resell it for what you paid for it than sure its worth it.

accessories have a % to damage reduction, regular armor just has defense.

Accessories are the most important piece of gear aside from your weapon.

Your right I went and checked and accessories are calculated different from regular protector.

Does anyone know how its calculated exactly?

Pvp someone With no clothes on except for your Acc. (a Nuker) then take off all your jewelry and have them nuke u again. There is a HUGE difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I did test it out. My lvl 32 sos+4 ring had slightly more damage reduce than my lvl 29 sos+3 garm chest against a robber. Since their attack is physical based i would think that protector would be about the same damage reduce.

Anyone feel like testing this at higher lvl to see if it is the same
