Cannot buy silk from website....

Post by __MagnuS__ »

Maybe i'll get some help here since Silkroadonline.net hasn't helped. I cannot buy silk with a new character I made because I can't log into the website due to the fct that I have a capital letter within the first 3 letters of my user ID. This is strange because I obviously was able to login in the past to have been able to create the account in the first place. I have tried in-game buying of silk and visiting the website itself and I still get a internet exlorer error message stating that the first 3 letters MUST be lower case letters. Is there a bug with JM's website, or do I have an issue with my IE. My windows and IE are up to date and I am running IE7 for service pack 2 Windows XP OS.. Is there a setting that can be changed or am I screwed? Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: This is a double post, but no answer was given by the tech help mod, or anyone else for that matter. Please help. Thank you.

Does caps in user ID actually matter? Try loging without the caps.

If that doesnt work, your just gonna have to wait till JM fixes it which will be at least 6 months.

I swear joymax make the username lowercase when you create an account.

so try and enter your username all in lowercase.

this is the solution I use:

download the Opera web browser and use it to login to the webpage:
http://www.opera.com/

the reason is that it has a built in function to block javascripts, or the popup that stops IE from getting any further when you get the message that your id is invalid or whatever.
another way is using the password manager. when you type in id/pass the password manager will pop up asking if you wanna save the pass or not. at the same time the message saying your acc is invalid wil pop up. click confirm on the popup and cancel on the save pass query and it will continue to log in.

hope this'll help :)

Lost the password for this account (UNi), and SRF's reset-function isn't sending me any reset mails.

Sorry for the triple post, but it worked just that. I put the first to lower case and I got the silk. Man, Morningdew gave me some B.S. response telling me the websites name and how to buy silk. JoyMax employes are almost as silly as the company itself. Thanks to all who posted, I am very greatful.
