Black hawk summon

Post by Monkey_guy »

Hey, 2 things I want to know about "Black hawk summon" for the bow skill.

1) Besides the black hawk being like a free wolf and looks pretty cool, does anyone find it useful?

2) I know to summon the black hawk you need the bow; if someone could clarify for me whether I would still have the black hawk if I switch weapons after. I know this works for the white hawk. I am asking 'cause my character is a pure int s/s.

Thx.

You can summon the black hawk then immediately switch to another weapon and keep the hawk out.

Just to clarify. My question was about whether I could still use the black hawk if I use a sword and shield?

yes you can, tbh honest though id say get the blue hawk or use teh white, the extra damage is not too much use where as the raised attack rating is. :P jsut my opinion though

Yes, for this build, I'm into boosting the attack rating to increase nuke damage. I just noticed it fluctuates too much, that's why I also plan on getting the attack rating passive. I also don't want 2 birds over my head; just too much poop to handle!

Ive heard that you cant use the black hawk (that it disappears if you switch weapon). But it works for the white hawk.

If you're pure int s/s, I'd say don't waste the sp on a mastery tree if you're gonna end up delvling it later.

if you want an AR increase, I'd say just invest in alchemy. No need to waste your 300/300 mastery max.

Can someone just answer my simple question???

Is it possible to summon and use the black hawk if my character do not use a bow?

Thanks.
