It's all to do with packet flow through the servers. Any-one can do it. I don't know how but it's basic really.

Yeh someone told me how it works but im not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing to have all our lvls and guilds and equipment details up there for everyone to see.

Hmm might be good way to find a good guild to war with similar lvls etc but i cant think of any other reasons then that.

Also knowing who has the most sosun might get hackers attracted to them.

I think it's a bit like looking in someones house to see what stuff they got really..

the list is probably generated from 1 or 2 hour last night/day so not everyone can be listed (for the guys already complaining about being the strongest and such stuff.)
I do hope Nymble will slow this down, this can get out of hand, for example making it possible to show what everyone has in their inventory/storage, this will make it easier for "hackers" to target people.

Agreed. This is as much a violation of joymax's operating policy as the bots. The script runners should be banned.

rather wake up joymax to make sure of our safety and show them how easy certain information can be obtained (tired of their we need to be sure that someone bots or not)

that should go in the top 100 excuses of all time.

enlighten us with more of your wonderful knowledge please.

I love them just because they are making things public that have been "known" for a while (website/forum security) and now this project.

VERY innacurate with my guild. It only listed someone who logged in twice the whole week and he's low level. All the active players were ignored, so we pretty much were left way behind.

Well we see the steller job they are doing banning spammers ;P I assume the same amount of competance will go into combatting this. Stay tuned for a public listing of all users MD5 hashes next week. (I wish I was joking but if they can derive this info they can do so much more.)

It's a list of botters and non botters, figure they indeed where just standing in Xian for 1-2 hours or so and just traced everybody around there.

you don`t understand it do you?
let`s try step by step

1 someone says: Joymax your forums is not safe...joymax we know we are safe
2 look joymax i can post with different nicknames even nicknames from gm`s without having any game account... joymax cant be real
3 someone post a msg on their frontpage..joymax Holy F**k our site is not safe

It seems to be VERY BUT VERY easy to spot a bot without EVEN needing to visit them ingame so IT is NOT HARD AT ALL TO tell who bots or not, because as rev6 is showing you can record/track players activity so it should also be easy to track rules breaking activities, joymax is simply not willing or just denying this so i am personally waiting for another smash in their face to wake them up again.

i do hope you get the point this time
