I cant click on a dead character to reserect them. Why??????

I cant click on a dead character to reserect them. Why??????
When I click on the dead character my character just moves on top of them. Iv tried clicking numerous times on numerous parts of the dead character but i just cant select them and therefor cant reserect them. Any ideas why??? Is it a problem with my game??? Plz post help cause its EXTREMELY FRUSTURATING AND ANNOYING. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :? :? :? :x :x :x :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
