help with GUILD MERCS

ok i jss got to lvl 3 guild, trying to get 5k gp to buy a guild merc. but have a few questions

1)which merc is most useful?
2)do they only use main skills/nuke? or is that in the lvl 4 guild?
3)how long do they last? 1month? 1 hour?
4)if they die can u revive or heal like a dog?

are they worth the gold and gp?
anything else i should know?

the fire nukers are considered the best, however I've heard decent things about the bow ones (against people in garments). The cold ones are fun to watch too as they freeze anything not immune.

Mercs ARE NOT WORTH IT at level 3.

One scroll spawns one for 20 minutes. They cannot be ressed once dead.
