Screwed by Joymax

Post by Nin »

Okay, firstly I have been playing this game on this account for a LONG time. Spent well over 200 bucks in silk.

So, one day I tried to get on and my account was blocked. The reason was "chargeback", which is bull. So now, i got months of work gone, and yeah that 60 bucks they blocked me for.. I got receipts PROVING they got my money. They wont give me a refund or unblock my account at all. I had to give pay pal a bunch of faxes and information to veify my account which i thought caused this, but now, after about 2 months, i havent got anything. So, as a small warning, DONT BUY SILK. I lost my account 200 bucks and i didnt anything, and guess what it can happen to you too.

Thanks joymax, for being the biggest jackass company and showing that they dont give a shit about anything but the size of their wallets.

Just quit like i did 5m ago. The game isn't worth playing
or paying for. I always hoped that one day it'd grow into a game
where the company actually cared but I soon realized that for
one everybody in the game tries to act like a bad ass ( e-penis time)
and grinding blows since im not a nike sweatshop worker.

sue them...if you really have the reciepts proving you paid them (thus proving the chargeback never happened) you should be able to take legal action...so...go get a lawyer

sue them for what? If he paid silk and used it, he got what he paid for right?

your chance of getting banned after buying silk is 1000% greater than botting

well i had this problem once too i got my account back

what i did:
spammed the silkroadonline.net gerneral forum with exact details of this incident, asked morning dew to help
called paypal and asked them to send a email to joymax stating that they received my money and unban my account

after 2 weeks i got unbanned

If his account was banned before he was able to use the silk then, no. He didn't get what he paid for and this then constitutes fraud. As their reason for blocking his account is false.

No. He was banned for charageback meaning that according to joymax he went back on his purchase and recalled his money. If he has recipts stating that he indeed did purchase silk and was charged for it (meaning he didn't chargeback) then joymax basically took is money said they didn't and kicked him out. Unless someones laundering money over at JM (and even if they are) that sounds like fraud to me and that is illegal so yes he can sue.

Small problem? He lost his characters, all his items, gold and all the money he put into the game. That is a BIG problem.

Ouch. I wish MorningDew can help you. Did you try asking her at the official forums? I know she responds to all sorts of complaints (unfortunately most of them are stupid ones), but this deserves her attention (if she can help you at all).
