ok,i have now being trying for 3 days and everytime i open the silkroad launcher it just does not load anything or show a start button,i may think that it is something to do with windows defender because a box pops up saying ''something caused windows defender to stop''

SO PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME!!!!!!
I REALLY WANT TO PLAY SILKROAD!!!!!!! :banghead:

also please could you not tell me on msn as i am never on it,this is really annoying me as i CANNOT get on silkroad and i really want to go on it,

Turn off Windows Defender, then see if it works.

assuing he is on Vista, then there is no way to turn off defender :(

Make sure you run in administrative mode.

Or you can try disabling User Account Control, since that seems to be the foundation for Defender. However, doing so may weaken the security of your system. Instructions at http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm.

You can also disable Window Defender's Real-Time Protection by:
* Open Windows Defender
* Click Tools
* Click General Settings
* Scroll down to Real Time Protection Options
* Uncheck Turn on Real Time Protection (recommended)
* After you uncheck this, click on the Save button
* Close Windows Defender

if U got XP uninstall it lol. It's really pathetic and wastes resources. If in Vista do what the dude above me said or if there's some sort of safe list, add SRO's main exe file to that. If there's no safe list, Microsoft programmers really are dumb
