something is wrong. joymax cant even catch blatant botters yet they pick one of the few legits out of a handful to ban for 10 days and then extend to 100 years? wong's keeping something a secret because it just doesn't make sense.

Honestly, is it really worth all this effort to keep trying to play? Think about how much more you could be enjoying yourself doing something else.

Extending the ban for the exact same offense is terrifically unethical, in my opinion. Ex post facto law is a hallmark of tyranny in the Western world. I don't know, maybe it's simply a cultural difference. Whatever the reason, why keep playing a game run by people like this?

But then, I don't know you. None of us know you. How many people on this forum have even heard your voice on TS/Vent to confirm you're actually from the UK and the age you say? I am not saying you're not, I'm just saying I can't rule out the possibility that you have done something worth of a perm ban. Not because I suspect you of doing anything wrong, only because I am not so full of myself that I think I could never be fooled.

I have been reading this and the other threads concerning MW's unjust ban.

There have been numerous posts saying "JM don't ban without a reason" or words to that effect.

Well, they do.

A friend just got a 100 Year Ban for "spamming the forums".

In the three weeks he has been playing iSRO he has made a total of 13 posts, he has never repeat posted, he has not started multiple threads with the same content.

As far as I can check he has not even posted more than once in any given thread.

But they ban him for Spam?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?!

JoyMAx have totally lost the plot.

They change the ToS so they can ban legit players for complaining about Bots, or asking about when will improvements be made etc.

But they don't change the ToS to make banning bots any easier.

Why?

Because JM produce and sell the Bots in question. And the botters buy silk.

Hell, when a self confessed botter, power-leveller and gold-seller can get unbanned by saying "I spent lots of money on silk" we can all see where this game is going.

We can all see who JM are really protecting.

What joymax does makes no sence..ever

I always thought if you botted and baught silk, that they wouldnt ban you..which makes sence.

Then why ban masterwong, who hasnt admitted botting and probably doesnt bot, and most likely buys silk(though I dont know)

What the fuc*K, the only explination is joymax smokes fuc*king crack

Or I can imagine them getting really drunk and randomly banning people for no reason cause they think its funny

please explain:

What was the five days for?

Why would JM ban a LEGIT for 100 years unless...

I don't think Wong is a botter/ccfer, but people online often have an alter personality. Just think of how easy it would be to bot and then say you don't. JM must have a reason to ban him. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe not. I am not saying he botted, I'm just saying its a possibility

Every1 has a darkside, btw you can only tell who someone is by there face. And yes, you can judge a book by its cover, who da f  k said you cant judge a book by its cover. Im not saying masterwong is a bad person who bot or ccf, or traded gold, but you never know. And im pretty sure hes a good person, but i have never seen him in rl so i cannot be 100% sure.

I still agree dat master wong shouldnt be ban tho, there are so much botters out there that you can find and ban so easily. BUT they ban som1 for doing a small violation, and maybe he Wong even do it at all.

They banned him because he wanted to trade gold on one server for gold on another server. And nowhere in th eToS does it state this is against the rules.

The ToS states that you may NOT sell virtual items for REAL money. It does not state that you cant Sell gold on one server for gold on another server, or anything about exchanging gold thru servers. And JM states they have a new ToS, the new ToS has not been posted so it can not be implied to Wongs case since the SRO community has not seen nor had the chance to agree with it. The only way the new ToS could have any effect is for JM to make EVERY player accept the ToS. THis could be done by users having to accept it upon logging into sro or some other way. In the end, JM broke their own ToS, Remeber, First penalty was 5days, second is 10, and than a permanent ban if you are cought selling virtual items.

Lol, here's my theory, your ban was extended not because of anything your character did, but because you wrote that you wouldn't buy silk anymore. When MD read that, you=banned. >.<

Their own TOS we have to abide by them as if it is a contract while signing up or continuing to play. Do they not also have to abide by this written "contract" . even if this game is owned by them they legally cant screw you over either

They skiped over 2,3 and went to 4. And they never specify that trading gold from server to server is against the ToS.
