Never said they were homosexual. The reasoning was that you would, of course, fight for someone you cared about, but you would fight even harder for someone you loved.

I am really glad that the movie went into a bit of detail about what the Spartans went through to get to become a soldier. I think that is a very important part of the movie. It helps people understand why they are the way they are.

That movie was freakin' awesome. It had all the elements, sex, hot people, humor, massive killing, and boobs. It can't get better than that, it really can't.
Well I saw the movie today I thought it was good.. althought I always hate sex scenes in action movies.. always awkward and waiting for them to hurry up and end.
What made it not good was
The idiot who was controlling the movie must of been on his first day and it was way too loud.
Every 14-15 year old nerd in the room was like "ohhhhh!!!!" each time someone died or the spartans said something witty.. i was about to get up and fight someone.
fighting got a tad bit repetitve, the effects were good but it was like

Yeah, the slow motion scenes and ridiculously fake looking blood splattering everywhere was slightly ridiculous.
Loved the movie. Don't watch it from the perspective of someone who's totally anal when it comes to historical accuracy and realism. It's about the story, and how it's portrayed.
ok i just saw it AGAIN last night and it was still amazing. the fight scene with the heavy music was one of my favorite parts. very little plot......very lot of fighting. i like it (and yes i said very lot....)
