pure strength fire/glavie... and bow?

hey guys i have a level 15 pure strength fire/glavie. i'm planning on putting some levels into lightning so i can have the grass walk thing. i also want to be a thief when i'm a higher level. my question is, would it be worth it to put a couple levels into the bow skill? i think it would be cool to start attacking from far away, and then once the character reaches me, attack them with my glavie. specially if i was a thief, i could attack the camel/horse from far away and then kill the trader with a glavie. anyways i just wanted to know what your thoughts are. thanks

At higher levels, you get a glaive/spear skill that is ranged. Don't bother with the bow.
