Private servers (not for sro)

Does anyone know of some private servers for some mmorpgs, such as Everquest, UO etc?

Would like to try a pay per month mmorpg for free just to see if it is a lot better than SRO.

I have tried.. to find something you generally need to know what youre looking for.

I was mainly wanting advice on what games there are private servers for, and when you search on google for a random one you normally get a Top 1000 bla bla stupid site.
