The Most Excitement I EVER had on the Silkroad...

Post by Kitty »

So, being bored and all, and not at all wanting to grind, I decide to go on a trade run all by myself. =) It turns out to be the most heart pumping event I have ever experienced on the Silkroad.

I was planning to do a 1*, but being gutsy, as most women are, I decided to do a 4* instead and see how I fared. I first thought I would go out of the west gate, but seeing 2 32+ thieves at the gate, and barely getting away alive, I decide to scrap this plan, and I head out the east gate, which is luckily thief free. A little out of DW, I see 2 32+ nuker thief, which with a zerk are easily put down. I then decide discresion is the best plan for this trade, and I head through ravine to the West ferry.

Unfortunately, as the screen loads and I appear on the other side, I see a lvl 42+ thief. I am SCARED. I quickly select the ferry man and teleport back to the DW side. Repeat this around 20x or so, until he is no longer there, and I figure he has given up, maybe because he lagged out or something. Anyway, I end up on the DW side unscathed, and deciding that West is jinxed, I decide to try my luck going through the East Ferry. I appear on the Jangan side seeing no thiefs, so I figure that Lady Luck is on my side.

As emerge from the ferry, all the theives begin coming. As I first make my way down, I see a Glaiver in a thief suit who I know is atleast 37+, as well as a 32+ nuker, both of the same guild. THANKFULLY my zerk bar has refilled, allowing me to kill both of them in an instant. I'm pretty sure at this moment they'll probably be back to kill me and take my loot, so I skedaddle. All of the sudden, I see another thief (who is a blader) coming toward me on a 30+ horse. Thankfully, I still have a bit of zerk left, and he receives the full blast of my nukes.

My heart is pumping EXTREMELY fast at this moment. At this point of the trade, I'm really wishing that someone higher lvl was here to escort me through. I decide to go cross country at this point since I figure luck definitely isn't on my side, and meet a few theives, but none that are of any threat to me. At the Jangan gate, I meet the same group of 3 at the ferry, but luckily, I am on my camel and have brought plenty of pots and I escape unscathed. =)

A rough map of what happened:

Nice 1 :) Takes too long IMO just for a measly bit of cash that botters get in half time from drops.
