If you don't have a monkey, then bow is quite slow since the range doesn't help if you have to run to pick up your drops.

#3 depends on area's spawn rate & # of monsters per feet

if monsters are spread out bow will win, if monsters are packed in, glave will win, cuz bow skills take longer & dont do as much dmg as glave skills

Exactly why I put it in there. Bow and glaive will level at about the same rate overall.

but you take more dmg when you are using glaive because it's always close quarter combat. so u use more hp pots and spend more money.

Also depends whether you are fighting ranged mobs or close-up mobs too, because with glaive you can aoe mobs with ghost-spear and agro them with the two books of flying-dragon if they are close-fighting mobs. But devil arrow ftw

glaviers level up faster than bow users.. glaviers have ranged skills and their dmg are MUCH higher. glaviers are also able to masskill with ghost spear. glaviers will kill giants&pack of mobs faster than bowers. bowers lvl up faster than glaviers at low lvls,, but not at higher lvls.

if you want to lvl as fast as you can, you do not attack giants unless you zerk on them... speaking out off a pure int spear point off view: since you train at mobs you can one-shoot, i got the impression you can kill mobs fast enough that the xp/sp you get from a giant is less then when you kill separate mobs. when being zerked it changes the whole thing: in zerk you more or less kill the mobs as fast as without, but giants go down in half the time...

oh and about the glaive doing more dmg then bow: guess you forget crits (and devil arrow crits a lot) plus you forget that you have to run up to your mob, bowmen dont. and don't give me the bs that you will throw your spear... i never seen a glaive training like that

Not after a certain level. It doesn't have enough AoE. I'd like to see any build keep up with my 90% hybrid INT spear at 57+ at yetis and devil yetis. 1 Nuke per yeti or devil yeti, AoE finishes them off while I nuke the next one, and any stragglers get killed all at once by ghost spear. Your pure INT bow can't take half a dozen assorted yetis pounding on it at level 60, and even if it could what's it going to use to kill them?
