Nuker

I wonder where the term nuker came from, it's been the name of int based builds ever since day 1.

I thought int's were tankers and str's had nukes.

I got a fire nuke.. I can kill a sonar in 7 hits with that + embue

nope.. tankers are those with lots of HP. They can take lots of damage whilst pounding away at their targets.

nukers have lots of MP. They attack from afar and can kill without being attacked (like a nuke).

A nuker uses skills or spells that do high amounts of damage but take time to perform, much like a nuclear missile. In Starcraft you have a perfect example of a nuker - the Ghost is not a very strong unit on its own but given some time to lay down its laser guiding thingie it quite literally nukes the enemy to kingdom come.
