I have at the momment a pure str ~swithing over to hybrid from here on out now~ and it's quite usefull. Personally I'd say ditch the healing stuff, you're a tank not a supporter. Go with lightening instead of fire when you're like 45+ since it's more usefull for pvp and leveling. Grasswalk is an awesome skill to have too ~mine is level 9
~ And if you're going downlevel some skill just get curst hearts. like 200 of them
Other than that you should be fine.

Starting Fresh.

Concerning A: most players do solo, and can solo without self-heal breathe or Heal Medicinal Hand on self. Hell, i prefer to solo than stick in a group. Yes, heals help if you like soloing but they wont save your azz if ur overmassed so bad thast you'd actually need them. In the heat of a major battle your not going to want to be stopping every 3 seconds to Medicinal Hand Heal, only to noticethat auto-pot covered you.
Concerning B: The MP bonus is nothing compared to the ammount of MP yo uget from just levling. At only level 16 my blader has about 490, which is enough for me to use all my imbues, Illusion Chain, and Strike 'n Slash whenever i feel like it. I always carry 100 Small Blues and 100 Small Reds, and i find myself having an enormous surplus of blues and anywhere from a glorious lack of, to an extreme abundance of Reds left after a grinding run.
The point is you are taking force for a reason that is fixable by the miracle of one hotkey: T. Stock up on potions and the force tree (resurrect aside) becomes nigh on useless... especially for a tank.
What could you be doing with this mastery instead?
Fire: Imbue allows the magic dmg (ok its only about 20 pts on a low level blade, but as your level goes up the ammount of damage added is much higher. Those who disregard imbues as a 'Moot' point on any pure strength character will soon find out just how much of a moot point it is (and hell, it only costs what, 2 points to invest in?). Fire also posesses another very handy tool: %physical dmg. The Fire-Body series and the Devil Fire (?) series both add active (needs to be recast) and passive (always on) physical damage.
Ice: As the above imbue, but it also slows enemies and can even freeze them. This is useless in PvP according to sum, but even a .5 second pause 5% of the time and a 50% slow the remaining 20-25% of the time is enough to really screw up someones DPS. As with strength, Ice has an active and passve that give their own unique bonuses. Ice adds a lump ammount of Physical armor to your total, bot hpassively and actively.
Lightning: Blah blah blah, imbue, blah blah blah, damage increase. This tree also has the Grasswalk series whihc gives a way to move faster in our 'turtle suit' (AKA armor) and gives us an edge at SP farming / grinding due to being able to move from mob to mob very fast. The passive and the Active add to the Parry ratio, meaning you will recieve closer to the minimum range of an enemy's damage. Any enemy's damage.
That about covers it on elemental advantages. Digest it all, and know this: All of that is my opinion. The information is factual, and the only part that comes to making the decision is wether you want to:
A) Have Higher Armor = Ice
B) Have Higher Damage = Fire
C) Move Faster / Have stronger Imbue = Lightning
or
D) Be unique and go force. Some roads are untraveled for a reason, but know that you don't walk alone anywhere. This forum is here as a support, and if you take the road less traveled i am sure there are plenty of people here who will be willing to tighten the slack up in other areas for you.
