Whats your opinion on guild wars?
I was told guild wars is better than silkroad, even tho you pay $20 to buy it, you dont have to pay to get stuff like a monthly fee or whatever something like that like you do on SRO for pets and stuff. Is this game any good? i checked it and the graphics are way better, characters too.
guild wars was fun for about a month.. this coming after i made 3 lv 20 chars and had them all maxed with the best weps and so on.. after i maxed em.. there wasn't much to do but farm ecto or go to the arena.. i didn't really care for either..

SRO, is only abou 22% complete id say
When we get the needed things for Chines we will hit 30
Then when we get Euro, we wil get the other 30 and hit 60%
Then who know... all i know is when we have all 3 Chinese, Euro and Islam we will only have 90%
The remaining 10 will come from other kinda patches

I wouldn't describe it as better or worse, as the design ethos is completely different in both games. Silkroad online is far more traditional, whereas GW can barely be called a proper mmorpg, fine game though it is. But overall, I would say that as far as Silkroad is concerned I enjoy the community and diversity, whereas for GW I enjoy (issue of pricing aside as silkroad is more or less free as is GW after you buy it once) a good story, funny quests (others may disagree) and over 1000 skills.
The thing with Guild Wars pvp is that it takes strategy to win, not the button mashing, pot warring kind of pvp in Silkroad. You only get to choose 8 skills out of hundreds to use. There are no such things as potions so healing skills and healers are actually necassary. The weapons and equipment used are almost always equal in power among people. There are no super Sosun 64+9 I automatically pwn kinds of weapons. This is why I find GW pvp to be a lot more challenging and enjoyable than SRO.

Guild wars: Updating constantly
There's a bug? It gets fixed fast.
A move screws up the balance of the game? They fix it fast.
Hundreds of quests (my ele has about 50 side quests I can choose from)
Lots of user titles you can get for doing certain things.
SRO: Grind fest
Solo
Few quests
Major suckage.
